Most of the company’s flights are operating normally, but some had to be canceled due to this “technical problem” that occurred on Thursday, according to the statement sent to AFP.
The airport, for its part, states on its website that “due to a technical problem that was resolved overnight (…) there may be further cancellations or delays in arrivals and departures today.”
According to the PA agency, citing the specialist company Cirium, a total of 175 flights were canceled in two days, which means that more than 20,000 BA passengers were affected.
