Buchecha published, on Tuesday (23), a video asking his followers to donate blood to Anderson Leonardo, lead singer of Molejo, who is treating a similar cancer.
The funk singer asked people to go to Hemorio, the coordinating blood center for the state of Rio de Janeiro, and stated that donations of any blood type are accepted.
“I'm stopping by to ask you to continue going to Hemorio or a nearby collection point to donate blood, of any type, for our dear Anderson Leonardo, who is really in need at this moment. We count on your support”, said the funk singer.
Anderson Leonardo was transferred again to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), on Monday morning (22), due to a drop in blood pressure and there is no forecast for the singer to be discharged from the unit.
The singer is 51 years old and since 2022 has been undergoing treatment for inguinal cancer, a rare type of tumor that affects the entire groin region.
