Investigators have discovered another corpse, bringing to 45 the victims of the tourist bus accident that occurred on Tuesday in Bulgaria, the prosecutor’s office announced today.
“We found the remains of a corpse today during new investigations,” Borislav Sarafov, the deputy attorney general, told AFP.
The death toll from the crash, which was the deadliest in Europe in ten years, has risen to 45 dead and seven injured.
Yesterday, Thursday, the court had spoken about finding 44 bodies, while 52 people were supposed to be present inside the tourist bus. The missing passenger could not be identified.
“Unfortunately, there is no eighth survivor,” Sarafov said after the discovery of new human remains “that look like those of a child.”
