After passing through 18 cities in Brazil, and even reaching the other side of the ocean, with an unprecedented event in the city of Porto, in Portugal the road show schedule of the Burger Tour finally arrives in São Paulo.
From the 28th to the 30th of November, the movement that travels around Brazil bringing knowledge, education and integration between entrepreneurs and professionals in the hamburger universe, takes place in the capital of São Paulo and will bring together important names in the hamburger universe in an immersion of great integration and knowledge.
The business group is made up of Saulo Matos (Estella Burger) Thiago Benedetti (Smart Burger), daughter Fernandes (Holy and FÔRNO), Pedro Waltzes (Bread with Meat) and junior Peto (John’s Burger). Together, they have already trained more than two thousand students in one year of work in cities such as Belo Horizonte, Manaus, João Pessoa, Fortaleza, Vitória, Rio de Janeiro and Recife.
“We ended 2022 with a feeling of accomplishment for bringing knowledge to so many people in Brazil and around the world. Our expertise is only valid if shared and the idea of strengthening the hamburger market is important to us as managers and passionate about what we do”, says Saulo, who dedicates himself to talking about the financial part during the workshops.
All important topics for the business are addressed, such as the gastronomic part, including recipes and exchange of ideas – led by Fih; the people and team management part is in charge of Pedro Valsas, followed by Junior, who addresses the importance and growth of delivery, and Thiago, who gives a lecture on the general vision of the business.
Training and large meetings
In the São Paulo edition, the program has an agenda with free access on the first day, 28/11. The event starts at 8am and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Soon after, at 9 am, there will be a lecture with Renata Cruz , creator of the Somos Foodness platform and the Rê Cruz to Go brand. Besides her, Luís Cintra from the St Louis Classic Burger, and Paulo Yoller , from Meats, also take the stage to talk about their experiences and stories in the world of hamburgers. At 11:30 am, a round table is scheduled with the creators of the Burger Tour. Then, from 14:00 to 16:00, there will be a broadcast of Brazil’s World Cup game. At the end, a musical performance to celebrate.
On this day, stations throughout the event space will sell burgers from the Burger Tour brands – Estella Burger, Smart Burger, Holy Burger, Pão com Carne and John´s Burger – and from Yor Burger, directly from Balneário Camboriú. Alongside them, there will also be an Old Man Sandwich fried chicken station, Bruno Panhoca coordinating a special ARTMILL smoking, and for those who can’t do without dessert, a Nanica station with its banoffe, and another of the Milk Shake from Creme Americano.
On the other two days, the 29th and 30th, the activities are aimed at those bought the course. After accreditation, Saulo Matos starts the agenda talking about Financial Management. Then he has lunch with a hamburger and the afternoon begins with a lecture on People Management, with Pedro Valsas. The day ends with Thiago Benedetti’s presentation on Hamburgueria Além do Burger. On the last day, the themes will be Delivery, with Junior Peto, and Cooking Practices, with recipe development and tastings, and at the end of the agenda, the delivery of certificates.
