Bus driver helps girl who had no money to go to her job interview

The covid-19 pandemic brought with it an economic instability never seen before, some lost their investments, others, their savings and some more, their jobs, such is the case of a girl from Brazil, who spent months in search of a new I work to get ahead.

His situation became so untenable that the day he got a job interview, he could not get on the bus to get there, because his card was without any credit. At that moment, tears and frustration invaded her. Don Joemir (bus driver) noticed that something was not right and decided to take her without charging her the corresponding ticket, even if that meant that she was reported by the other passengers.

Don Joemir approached that girl and asked her what was happening. She narrated her situation to him and he helped her immediately. He was so kind that he wished him good luck, told him to do his best to get what he wanted, and lent him some coins for the ride home. Fortunately, she got the job and after a few days, she shared her story on social media.

She had been unemployed for four months. I sent a resume via e-mail, but when I went to the stores I received the following response ‘We do not accept resumes’. On Tuesday morning I received a call for an interview.

When I got on the bus to go to the interview, the ticket machine exclaimed that the card was damaged. I went into despair, I got off the bus. I didn’t know that Mr. Joemir (the driver) was watching me from a distance.

He waited for all the passengers to get on and asked me what had happened, I replied that my card did not pass and that I was going to a job interview, I opened my wallet and I had nothing. Mr. Joemir told me there was no problem and asked how I would get back, as I had no cash. I replied ‘The important thing is to leave, I will fix it on the way back’.

Mr. Joemir opened his wallet and gave me money for the return ticket. I didn’t know how to thank him. At that moment I only knew how to cry sitting on the bus seat. Today I found him again and told him I got the job. I thanked him so much! Moral of all this: God always sends angels to act on behalf of his own and Mr. Joemir is an angel without wings.

Stories like this make us regain faith in humanity. More people like that!
