A Fabio’s bus was used by criminals as a barricade to prevent the advance of Military Police vehicles, which were carrying out an operation in some communities in the region. Mangueirinha Complex at Corte Oito, in Duque de Caxias, this Friday (13).
According to the Military Police, the operation aimed to prevent theft of cargo and vehicles in the region, and was carried out by agents from the 15th BPM (Caxias). There is still no information on arrests or deaths.
Upon arriving at Complexo da Mangueirinha, the police were greeted with hostility by the criminals. In retaliation, the criminals hijacked a bus and crossed it onto one of the main access roads to the community. This action impacted all traffic in the region.
In the video, it is possible to see that passengers on other bus lines give up waiting for the vehicle to be picked up and start moving on foot, along the side of the street.
