Butler County District Attorney Impressed With How Easily Gunman Got To Trump

The ease with which the gunman who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump got so close to him was “remarkable,” the Butler County, Pennsylvania, district attorney said today. “Honestly, I was surprised that he was able to get up on that roof and shoot,” prosecutor Richard Goldinger told MSNBC. “I know we had law enforcement in the building so it’s even more impressive that he managed to get up there,” he added, clarifying that the building houses a glass factory. According to the security services, the gunman opened fire from a distance of about 150 meters, outside the security perimeter of the election rally.
