A bill has been submitted to the Senate of the U.S. state of California proposing to allow government agencies in the state to accept cryptocurrencies to pay for their services.

According to the senator, California institutions may well accept cryptocurrencies to pay government fees. In fact, the bill only supplements the existing state law in terms of the list of accepted currencies for paying for public services.

Recently, Colorado Governor Jared Polis announced that local residents will be able to pay taxes in BTC and ETH from the middle of this year. The authorities will exchange them for US dollars.
