Cardano Foundation Shares Five-Year Roadmap

The Cardano Foundation, an organization focused on the development of the Cardano blockchain, has unveiled a roadmap for the ecosystem over the next five years.

According to a presentation published on YouTube, the developers have already achieved results in many areas:

Cardano Registry (50% complete).
Blockchain Explorer (25%).
Improved technical understanding of the project (~ 30%).
Launch of an educational program (50%).
Center for Integrations & Business Models (~ 27%).
Service for developers (75%).
Organization formation (~ 45%).
Improvement of the whitepaper of the decentralized method of sponsoring projects (25%).

At the same time, in 2022 the Cardano Foundation plans to achieve the following results:

Enter into partnerships with 50 banks.
Add support for three new libraries for Cardano.
Start a service for developers.
Improve the quality of voting through Catalyst.
Improve interpretability for financial inclusion.

Until 2024, as stated by the head of the Cardano Foundation Frederick Gregaard, the organization intends to achieve the purchase of ADA tokens by at least three companies from the Forbes 500 list. The organization also intends to strengthen on-chain activity by increasing the number of wallets.

Until 2026, the Cardano Foundation plans to increase the ecosystem’s user base to 1 billion. By that time, Cardano will already be managed by the community.

The announcement for the development of the Cardano ecosystem comes after the number of ADA staking addresses hit a record 650,000. There are 2,656 active mining pools operating in the network, and the volume of cryptocurrency in staking has reached $ 29 billion. This is more than 70% of the total number of ADA in circulation.
