Carolina of Monaco and Ernst August of Hanover, there is an air of divorce

Caroline of Monaco and her second husband Ernst August of Hanover, married since 1999, have been living apart since 2009. So much so that the international press has been asking for some time: “Why don’t they get divorced?”. Perhaps the classic straw that breaks the camel’s back has arrived. And it has a name and a surname: Claudia Stilianopoulos, 48-year-old daughter of the late socialite and writer Pitita Ridruejo as well as alleged new flame by Ernst. As he unveiled Hello there!, the two met in Ibiza last July.

And their relationship would be going well. So much so that Carolina’s sixty-seven-year-old husband would dream new wedding.

To return to the altar, of course, the prince should get a divorce. A hypothesis that sixty-four-year-old Carolina, at least until now, has never wanted to hear about. In spite of the continuing scandals surrounding her second husband. Always. In 1998 the noble hit a photographer with his umbrella, in 2000 he scored a double: in Kenya he hit the owner of a nightclub, in Germany he was caught while urinated in front of the Turkish pavilion at the Hanover Expo.

Then, in 2009, the magazine Colorful public a photo of Ernst from Hanover with a ring of the Club Babylon of Vienna. Carolina only had to leave her husband. In 2015 however they returned together. Even if they haven’t been seen together for twelve years. The last couple shots date back to June 2009. As far as is known, not even the party for their only daughter’s 18 years, Alexandra of Hanover, in 2017, he managed to reunite the two. Yet the princess has so far always kept the path of divorce away. It would be she who does not want to dissolve the bond of a marriage that has not existed for some time. To hear the gossip “would not like to lose the title of Royal Highness”, higher than her due as a daughter of Rainier III of Monaco. The 1999 marriage with Ernst from Hanover, heir of a thousand-year-old German lineage, has given her a rank of a span higher than that of her brother Alberto, “Only” Serene Highness.

Ernst di Hanover has an estimated assets of 350 million euros. But, at this point, any scenario becomes possible.
