The founder of Binance came to the opening of the crypto exchange office in Romania and shared his opinion on the current situation with cryptocurrencies in Europe.
The CEO of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange, Changpeng Zhao, announced that the company will launch a Romanian customer support service. The move is part of Binance’s plans to expand into Eastern Europe.
The CEO of Binance met with Romanian Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă and Digitalization Minister Sebastian Burduja in Bucharest. According to Zhao, the current situation with inflation and rising energy prices in Europe is attracting the attention of citizens to digital assets, which means the prospects for the growth of crypto business. In addition, the exchange plans to increase its presence in global markets, and Eastern Europe is “extremely important” for the company. Recall that last year Binance managed to open an office in the neighboring country of Romania – Bulgaria.
Zhao assured: Binance is convinced that the cryptocurrency market is still in its infancy, so all the most important things for him are ahead. Payments in cryptocurrencies, says the founder of the crypto exchange, will become more and more popular in both developed and developing countries.
The current situation in the markets with the prices of cryptocurrencies does not bother Zhao so much, he is currently concerned about the increase in the number of users of cryptocurrencies. Earlier, the head of Binance said that the EU crypto asset regulation model could become a global standard for the entire industry.
