The actress Giulia Buscacio who played Sandra in the soap opera “Reborn “, went to social media this Saturday (7) to say goodbye to the character and the plot, which came to an end this Friday.
“Yesterday the soap opera ended but the lives of these characters will continue for eternity, along with the respect and affection that remains for everyone who has walked this far,” Giullia posted on Instagram, with a video showing some of the moments experienced by her character.
In the remake, Giullia played Sandra, João Pedro’s (Juan Paiva) romantic partner. The couple were children of rival families (Coutinho x Inocêncio), but ended up together in the end.
After about seven months, the plot adapted by Bruno Luperi concluded the story with some new endings in relation to the original plot, which aired in 1993.
Grandson of Benedito Ruy Barbosa the original author, Luperi took the liberty of making some changes to the script, bringing a contemporary feel to the story.

“REBORN.
Believe. This profession teaches me every day the power of believing, not only in yourself, but in others, in life, in tomorrow.
No amount of thanks here will be enough for all the people involved who believed and joined hands in this beautiful journey of telling a story.
Oh Sandra, how you taught me, how you strengthened me and held my hand in many moments, since the first day of the test. Thank you Bruno Luperi for leading this story and characters with so much love and strength.
I trust that God had already written this meeting of ours, Sandra, and through the talent and sensitivity of Marcella Bergamo Matheus Leliss, it became possible.
Friends on this journey, how I admire you… I know that Sandra existed because of a number of people who gave her life. (the entire cast, characterization, costumes, production, technique…)
Thank you for believing.
Nothing is done alone.
Thank you to everyone who made this happen.
Working with such attentive, respectful and brilliant directors was a daily motivation.
Yesterday the soap opera ended but the lives of these characters will continue for eternity, along with the respect and affection that remain for all who have walked this far and thank you to you, the public, who were by our side helping to bring this story to life. THANK YOU!”
