Charlotte Casiraghi and Dimitri Rassam, how romantic the Cannes red carpet is

The last time we had seen them in public as a couple was in July 2021, at one of the most exclusive parties of the Cannes Film Festival. The current edition of the Festival has given us one new (very rare) public appearance from Charlotte Casiraghi together with her husband Dimitri Rassam. The royal and the film producer walked the red carpet for the film screening Brother & Sister with Marion Cotillard. Beautiful and in love. The couple’s return to public – who got married in summer 2019 and has a four-year-old son, Balthazar – it’s a small event. The two, in fact, in recent years have chosen to minimize the worldly commitments, divided between his work in Paris, and the family dimension that they created in the Barbizon green, a stone’s throw from the French capital, on the edge of one of the most beautiful forests in Europe. The two are seen in public so rarely that the gossip, every two by three, gives their marriage for dead. The photos taken at Cannes 2022 are worth more than any official denial of the rumors of crisis.

Especially during the toughest period of the lockdown, there was talk of a Rassam sad and disconsolate for the distance from the firstborn Darya, had by his ex-wife, the Russian model Masha Novoselova, and a Charlotte increasingly worried about the holding of the wedding. On the other hand, the confidentiality of Charlotte, sixth in line of succession to the throne without being a princess, and her decision to move away from the Principality to live in the countryside (still in a luxurious residence of the Grimaldi family), making her disappear from the radar of the media has fed exponentially the indiscretions and gossip that already naturally surround royalty.

The photos with her husband, however, tell a happy and loving couple. Who simply chose to live a life away from the spotlight and the Principality. In the greenery of Barbizon, the daughter of Carolina di Monaco and Stefano Casiraghi leads a reserved and passionate existence with her family. Like music (in May 2021 on the occasion of the Chanel Cruise 2022 fashion show debuted as a singer) and horses (expert horsewoman, has distinguished itself in several international competitions). Although from time to time, with Dimitri, he allows himself some (very rare) public release. And when it happens all the flashes are for them.
