On Monday night (13), the restaurant specializing in Middle Eastern food celebrates four years of history and prepares an informal dinner alongside other chefs to raise funds for Rio Grande do Sul, with all proceeds going to the state.

Cantaloup Feijoada – May 15th
The sale of traditional feijoada from the Cantaloup restaurant will go towards helping social actions in Rio Grande do Sul. The action takes place this Wednesday (15), at the house in Itaim Bibi.
Feijoada is served at lunch and costs R$121 for an individual and R$196 for two people.

“Brazil is Gaucho”, dinner at Dalva e Dito – May 18

On May 18th, chef Alex Atala brings together 11 other chefs for a charity dinner at the restaurant Dalva and Dito . The initiative takes place through the NGO Ação da Cidadania and the seven-course menu costs R$2,000 per person, including food pairings, non-alcoholic drinks and coffee. All funds will be allocated to helping those left homeless by the rains and rebuilding communities.

Pizzas for RS at Veridiana – May 18th
From 12pm to 5pm on May 18th, Veridiana, one of the best pizzerias in Latin America in 2024, will sell pizzas by the slice to raise funds for CUFA-RS. The event will also sell drinks and ice cream.
The address in Perdizes will also receive bottled water and donations of non-perishable food to be sent to other collection points.

Charity night at Café Hotel – May 24th
In Pinheiros, the nightclub Café Hotel is holding a charity event on May 24th with the aim of donating 100% of the box office and the DJ's fees to those affected by the rains in Rio Grande do Sul.

The award-winning Tuju opens its doors on May 28th with the mission of raising R$300,000 for flood victims in Rio Grande do Sul. To this end, the chef Ivan Ralston welcomes a strong team to lead a 10-stroke harmonized menu for a cost of R$10,000. All money will go to SOS Rio Grande do Sul, the NGO Ação Cidadania and the Survivor Institute.

Aguzzo Cucina dessert sales – during May

With three units in São Paulo, the Aguzzo restaurant will allocate the money raised from the sale of all desserts in the month of May to Rio Grande do Sul. Donations at Diblu Gelateria – during May
The Diblu ice cream shop, in Vila Nova Conceição, became a collection point for supplies for Rio Grande do Sul, such as clothes, water, non-perishable food and animal feed. Whoever donates gets a cup of homemade gelato in return.

GattoFiga Pizza Bar shares – during May

In Vila Clementino, GattoFiga Pizza Bar also became a donation collection point. To attract more people to the cause, the venue lowered the price of tickets for this month's two female fraternities, which take place on May 14th and 28th, to R$90 — each ticket entitles you to three glasses of wine. The house asks each participant to donate hygiene products or 1 kg of food.

The Hospedaria's two restaurants, with addresses in Mooca and Itaim, became a collection point for water, basic food baskets and veterinary medicines for the South. Furthermore, all the money raised from the sale of Chicken with Polenta between the 8th and 19th of May will be donated to the NGO MRSC, focusing on helping homeless people and their dogs.

Plate breaking on the Mii Rooftop – during May
Throughout May, Mii Rooftop, a Greek restaurant in the Vila Anália complex, in the east zone, will use the entire value of the traditional dish break to help Rio Grande do Sul.
The symbolic value of breaking dishes is R$7 and the money goes towards a kitty online. Currently, plate breaks are already reversed in lunch boxes.
