Today, September 22, Chery officially announced the start of sales of its new Tiggo 4 Pro crossover in Russia – of course, both prices and equipment were made public. And here I would like to immediately tell you about the good news – for the basic version, the manufacturer requests only 1.88 million rubles, so the most affordable configuration of the crossover turned out to be only 50 thousand rubles more expensive than the Tiggo 4. At the same time, the cars are quite similar in appearance – the radiator grille, body shape and even the interior is almost completely copied from the classic “four”, although this, of course, only plays into the hands of the novelty.
In total, the new crossover will have five trim levels at once – Action MT, Action, Family, Travel and Style. In the basic configuration, which costs 1,879,900 rubles, a potential buyer receives a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 113 horsepower, which will work in conjunction with a 5-speed manual gearbox (there is a model with a CVT, but it costs one hundred thousand rubles expensive). A slightly more expensive version of the Family was priced at 2,109,900 rubles, but it received the same engine – differences in interior design and additional options. The most expensive Travel and Style trims use a more powerful 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 147 horsepower with a CVT – mechanics are no longer offered here.
The price for these configurations is 2,229,900 rubles – both versions cost the same and are the top offer of all five. In this case, Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, for example, already has LED optics, remote engine start, keyless entry, a panoramic sunroof and many other bonuses in the spirit of a surround view system.
