Children killed in US school shooting were 9 years old, police say

The three students killed during an attack on a school in the United States on Monday (27) were 9 years old, according to local police. The case took place in Nashville, Tennessee.

According to police, the dead children were identified as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney. In addition to them, three adults also died in the attack, led by a 28-year-old woman.

The murdered adults were identified as Cynthia Peak, 61, Katherine Koonce, 60, and Mike Hill, 61.

The perpetrator of the attack, identified as Audrey Hale, was a resident of Nashville. According to the chief of police in the city, John Drake, she had detailed maps of the school, with information about surveillance points and access points.

The shooter had three firearms, a rifle, a pistol and a revolver. “We believe two of them may have been legally obtained around here,” Drake said.
