Children’s Day: see what to do with the little ones in BH, DF, Recife and Rio

THE Children’s Day celebrated this Saturday (12), cannot go unnoticed! Therefore, capitals from different parts of Brazil prepared a special program to celebrate the date.

There are all kinds of jokes. Residents and visitors of the Rio de Janeiro They can take the little ones to have fun at the circus or create new arts in workshops. Node Federal District the program includes theater, picnics and competitions. In Reef games of all types take over shopping malls. In Belo Horizonte children can race in go-karts.

Circus Vostok

Of Russian origin, the Circus Vostok It’s a great program to delight your children! The event transforms the Via Parque Shopping Parking Lot, in Rio de Janeiro, into a stage for national and international attractions, from this Thursday (10th) until October 17th. With free classification, tickets cost R$200 for all ages.

THE Downtown Rock Kids offers lots of fun for children on Saturday (12), from 1pm to 7pm, in Barra da Tijuca. The event’s program includes a magic show, a recycled toy workshop, tic-tac-toe, hopscotch and performances by the bands Ploc and Black Bird (a tribute to The Beatles). Little ones can also participate in a candy hunt, inspired by the Halloween season. With free entry, pets are allowed.

EcoVilla Rihappy

The living space EcoVilla Rihappy With Bicharada Party also offers special programming on Saturday (12), from 3pm to 6pm, in Rio de Janeiro. Little ones can enjoy shows, recreation, face painting, fun games, art workshops and scavenger hunts. Adults pay R$40, with half-price tickets costing R$20. Buy here.

Arena Games — Children’s Day Special

The new edition of Arena Game — Children’s Day Special takes place at the Municipal Market of Rio de Janeiro starting this Thursday (10) and continues until Sunday (13), from 10am to 5pm. The event features games such as foosball, ping pong, air hockey, chess, checkers and more. If you feel hungry, the cuisine is focused on Portuguese cuisine. Entry is free.

PicniK Brasilia

An edition of PicniK Brasilia takes over Shopping Conjunto Nacional on Saturday (12), from 1pm. The event features shows, treats, yoga, meditation, storytelling, clown performances, inflatable toys and even a book fair. Entry is free.

Festival Céu de Brincandeiras no Gama

THE Heaven of Play Festival from Coletivo Ori-gens, takes place at Parque Leste do Gama, on Saturday (12), from 9am to 5pm. With free entry, the event offers a cultural program for the whole family: storytelling, theater plays, art workshops, paintings, dances, circus performances and games.

Chaves Magic Circus

THE Chaves Magic Circus brings the magic of the TV character, beloved by Brazilians, to the stage of the show, at Arena BRB – Nilson Nelson. Scheduled to premiere this Thursday (10), the event will run until October 20 and features several interactive attractions, a circus show, an Instagrammable space, a themed snack bar and replicas of the series’ sets. Francisco Brennand Workshop

Oficina Francisco Brennand, a museum dedicated to the artist’s work, prepared a special program for children’s month. Among the options, there is Children’s Theater Workshop which takes place this Saturday (12) and Sunday (13), with actress Angélica Zanith. The idea is to help develop expression skills, a sense of community, self-esteem and interpersonal relationships. Tickets cost R$200, in addition to the fee, and can be purchased here.

Furthermore, until October 31st, there is the event Curumin Experiences a geoink workshop, natural stamps and sensory games with the public education and guidance team. Entrance to Oficina Francisco Brennand, for the general public, costs R$50.

Paço do Frevo

The programming of the Paço de Fravo is focused on a lot of culture and the homonymous dance, typical of Pernambuco, on Saturday (12). At the Frevações event, children aged 4 to 11 can enjoy games and workshops on masks, banners, quizzes and more. Plaza Shopping

Plaza Shopping, in Recife, offers a children’s play circuit until October 20th, from 2pm to 8pm. The public can have fun in games such as Tombo Legal, which aims to hit the target for little ones to fall into the ball pit; Espaço Baby, a space with a ball pool, educational games and cabins; and Torta na Cara, a question and answer game with consequences.

In addition to these activations, there is an activity called Crazy Ball, the objective of which is to hit the greatest number of footballs in a basket. Entry is free, but you must register in advance in this link.

eKarts — Children’s Electric Kart

This tour is perfect for kids who enjoy excitement! THE eKarts — Children’s Electric Kart a type of electric “car”, began its brief and temporary visit to Belo Horizonte last Monday (7). Located at Shopping Paragem, the game takes place from 12pm to 10pm on Saturday (12th) and Sunday (13th).

Knowledge Space Museum

Get to work! This is the name of the event that takes place until October 20th, from 10am to 1:30pm, at UFMG Knowledge Space a planetarium and astronomical terrace. During the week, visitors can play with colored paper, ribbons, colored pencils and other materials. Entry is free and is available in person two hours before the activities begin.

Furthermore, there is the possibility of attending the Planetarium Sessions whose tickets cost up to R$14 (full price). The experience is an immersive cinema, which aims to present and teach how astronomy works. Tickets are available at the museum box office and must be purchased on the day of the visit.
