THE CNN Specialist in education Claudia Costin commented, this Wednesday (23), about the main way to prevent the spread of Covid-19 inside the classroom: vaccination.
For the specialist, the vaccination of children, including within schools, is an important initiative.
“This has been known for a long time, it has been discontinued and it is very good that you are vaccinating again in schools, even more in the pandemic, with the written permission of the parents.”
This connection between health and education has always been debated, including the construction of day care centers next to health centers. “There are ways to put these two important public policies into dialogue, including with school meals being healthy. The school health program plays an important role in this regard”, commented Claudia.
For the educator, teaching communities to properly separate garbage, have a healthier diet and deal with scientific information can be a gain for society, and this starts in schools.
