CNN Talents Finalists in Comunique-se Award

Events organized by the Comunique-se Group, a media tech that this year completed two decades in the Brazilian market, the Comunique-se (journalism) and Influency.me (digital influence) awards will be held next week.

For this year, a novelty in terms of production: they will take place in a “physical” format, that is, they will unite the physical and digital environments.

Considered the “Oscar of Brazilian Journalism”, the Comunique-se Award will have its 2021 edition held from 8 pm on November 16th. In the physical part, the award will have the presence of the greatest protagonists of the time: the finalists.

In addition to them, winners of previous editions, representatives of media supporters and executives from the sponsoring companies will be present at Espaço JK, in São Paulo.

Multimedia journalism project in operation in Brazil since March 2020, CNN Brasil is present at the Comunique-se and Influency.me awards. First, the vehicle integrates the list of media supporters of the two awards.

three talents from CNN Brasil appear as finalists in the Comunique-se Award. Daniela Lima and Renata Agostini are in contention for the trophy in the ‘Journalist Podcaster’ category, because of the podcast ‘Horário de Brasilia’. If they win, the pair will make history at the awards. This is because it will be the first time that a double nomination will have the dispute recognized.

Basília Rodrigues and (again) Daniela Lima compete in ‘Nacional – Mídia Falada’. In the Comunique-se Award, the national part is dedicated to valuing professionals who cover the backstage of politics — a subject that is a specialty of Basilia, an analyst based in the federal capital, and Daniela, who runs the daily news program ‘CNN 360º’.

Scheduled for the night following the Comunique-se Award, the Influency.me Award will follow the same strategy in the physical part. At the event, which is already nicknamed the “Oscar of Digital Influence”, the guests for the gala night are the finalists and representatives of media partners and sponsors.

This year, the Comunique-se and Influency.me awards have together 13 sponsors. Azul, Bayer, DINO, Mondial, Santander and Vale acquired shares at the gold level. Ambev, Claro, Suzano and Twitter appear as sponsors at the silver level. Finally, Dux Nutrition, Salesforce and Zendesk complete the team of brands present at the events, with the acquisition of bronze level shares.

Live streaming on the internet

The Comunique-se and Influency.me 2021 awards will not be restricted, however, to the list of guests who are in the physical space of the party. The events will focus on digital, with live broadcast over the internet. The ceremonies can be watched by internet users throughout Brazil — or anywhere in the world — on the Comunique-se and Influency.me channels on YouTube.
