John Forsyth disappeared under mysterious circumstances on May 21st. A few days ago, he was found dead 100 km from the place of the alleged loss. According to the police, the businessman’s personal car was not locked, and there was a wallet, a laptop, personal documents and mobile phones in the cabin. At the initial stage of the investigation, the police adhere to the version that Forsyth’s murder does not look like an accidental attack or an unsuccessful robbery.
John Forsyth and his brother Richard (Richard Forsyth) founded the Onfocoin project in 2020. The startup allowed users to earn ONFO coins by redirecting potential customers to the so-called “network mining” platform. The Onfocoin project team maintained a thematic YouTube channel, where they called for worldwide decentralization and promoted digital assets, and also promoted the idea of the inevitable collapse of the US dollar.
In the same 2020, Forbes named John Forsyth the new bitcoin millionaire.
“During the previous two Bitcoin halvings, countless new millionaires emerged. John Forsythe, founder of Onfo, is one of them.”
informed Forbes magazine.
Commenting on the Forbes statement, Forsythe said it had long been clear to him that math-based currencies like bitcoin should eventually displace sovereign banknotes.
“I started mining bitcoins and litecoins very early and have always held onto them. The high valuation of these assets allowed me to invest in other crypto technologies, which eventually led to the development of Onfo, a platform that helps people make money through network mining,” said John Forsyth.
Last year, the crypto community was shocked by a series of tragic events that claimed the lives of four famous crypto billionaires in just one month. These unexpected deaths raised fears due to suspicious circumstances, with some of the people who died expressing concerns about their safety before they passed away.
At the end of October 2022, Nikolay Muchgyan, co-founder of MakerDAO, was found dead on a beach in Puerto Rico just hours after he tweeted that he was being pursued by intelligence agencies. The next victim was broker Javier Biosca, who was found dead on November 22 in Estepona. Biosca was under investigation in connection with the largest cryptocurrency scam in Spain. On November 23, Tiantian Kullander, co-founder of Amber Group, died in his sleep. And just two days later, on November 25, Vyacheslav Taran, president of the investment company Libertex Group and founder of the Forex Club, died in a plane crash while returning from Switzerland to Monaco.
