The cold front is expected to act more intensely in the southern region of the country. Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina are on orange alert cold wave — thermometers can remain 5ºC below average for up to five days.
Rio Grande do Sul is still under alert for danger of frost mainly in the center and south of the state. The minimum temperature can reach 0°C.
Twelve states and the Federal District are in yellow alert for low humidity : The relative humidity of the air can be as high as 20%.
Paraná, Sao Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul and Santa Catarina have potential danger of heavy rains . Volumes can reach 30 mm/h and intense winds of 60 km/h.
