The ranking of the most searched shows by Brazilians in 2023 was released by Google this Monday (11). Coldplay’s performances topped the ranking as the show that was most searched for by Brazilians this year.
The band performed in Brazil, with shows in São Paulo, Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro in March this year, after postponing the season in the country, which originally would have taken place at the end of 2022.
During their stay here, the band met with President Lula and invited several guests to make appearances during their shows, such as Sandy and the USP law drums.
Taylor Swift, who was named person of the year by “Time” magazine, came to Brazil in November and performed in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.
The artist’s visit to the country was marked by a heat wave in RJ that led to the death of a fan who fell ill during one of the performances.
The event generated a commotion and mobilized political actors to change the rules for events held under very hot weather conditions.
