“Connected women”: 14 digital entrepreneurs tell their stories in a new podcast

Young, smiling, smart, career and super technological. These are the features in common of the protagonists of the second edition of podcast produced by Samsung Electronics Italia which launches today September 20 on Spotify and other platforms.

The name speaks for itself: Connected women is a comparison between 14 protagonists, divided into 6 episodes, each hosted by television and radio host Melissa Greta. “Last year we chose the podcast as a storytelling tool not only because it is very successful all over the world, and also in Italy, not only because it is easily usable as a medium, but because we believe it is the right tool to tell stories in a “Simple” »he tells us Francesco Cordani, Head of Marcom di Samsung Electronics Italia.

The protagonists of Connected women they are Rossella Migliaccio, The Thirties, Lea Cuccaroni, Lavinia Biancalani, Grace’s Wardrobe, Diletta Secco, Michela Coppa, LaSabri, Ludovica Pandolfo, Martina Pinto, Kessy and Mely. Digital entrepreneurs, creators and influencers, each of them, with their own story and experience, listened and discussed one of the six macro-themes chosen by Samsung: work, love, wellness, gaming, family and beauty. Each podcast is in fact conceived as a dialogue, conducted by Melissa Greta, between two different points of view, with the constant background of the technology, as an enabler and enhancer of possibilities.

And in fact this communication channel lends itself to serious topics: «Audio – Cordani confirms – allows us to think, reason, elaborate and appreciate storytelling without distractions, without other stimuli. This year we have chosen to dispel a myth, we have chosen to have women entrepreneurs talk about technological issues ». Not a genre podcast, then? “It is not, they are true stories, of people using technology for their company, if then a message of this type also passes, well, so much the better”. On the other hand if it is undeniable that more and more companies are engaging in social issues, Connected women it is not necessarily a social responsibility statement.

Comparison is the keyword of Connected women and indeed it is the most common way of doing in the female universe: asking, exchanging opinions, looking at others. “This is why we chose women who had something to say about themselves and who could be food for thought for the other guest and for the listeners, because podcasts work if people are credible” concludes Cordani. So all ready and tuned to the first three episodes available.
