As of September 30, the mandatory registration of agricultural machinery that transits on public roads must be done with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa), and no longer with the Detran.
The formalization of agricultural machinery and equipment in the National Registry of Tractors and Agricultural Machines (Renagro) can be done by ID Agro, a platform developed by the CNA Institute in partnership with Mapa.
For Carlos Ribeiro, administrative coordinator of the CNA Institute, the registration brings several benefits to rural producers. “If the producer has a stolen item, he can notify the police directly through the app, ensuring a faster recovery of his equipment. In addition to other benefits, especially in the sale of equipment used in the future”, he exemplified.
