Coronavirus in recession in India: About 30,000 new cases

There is optimism in India as coronavirus cases began to decline. The Federal Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday (20/7) that in the previous 24 hours another 374 patients with COVID-19 succumbed and 30,093 new infections were confirmed.

This is the lowest number of laboratory-confirmed infections reported in the last four months.

The data provided by the Ministry of Health indicate that the so-called second wave of the young coronavirus is in recession.

The report of the victims of the pandemic in India, as broadcast by the Athenian News Agency. has so far reached 414,482 deaths out of a total of 31.17 million infections, according to official data, which experts say are underestimated.

It is the third heaviest death toll and the second highest number of infections in the world.
