One week after easing restrictions triggered by covid outbreaks, the city of shanghai is fighting again against the resurgence of the virus and many areas are again blocked.
Shanghai to block eight districts of the city this weekend to mass test millions of people as cases of COVID-19 continue to emerge.
The restrictions will apply to some 15.3 million residents from Pudong, Huangpu, Jing’an, Xuhui, Hongkou, Baoshan, Yangpu and Minhang districts of Shanghai during the tests.
For his part, Christophe Lauras, president of the French Chamber of Commerce in China, “the business climate is not positive because, despite the fact that the cities have opened up, the problem of the zero-COVID policy remains.
