A collision between a truck and a passenger car resulted in the death of a couple near the city of Seritinga (MG), on BR-267. According to the Minas Gerais Fire Department, the accident happened on Tuesday afternoon (5).
As a result of the collision, a man and a woman who were in the passenger car were trapped in the wreckage and could not resist.
The military had to use hydraulic tools to remove the bodies. The deaths were confirmed by SAMU doctors.
A third victim, also an occupant of the car, was injured and was rescued by SAMU teams and taken to a hospital in the region.
The truck driver was not injured.
The dynamics of the accident will be investigated. The Minas Gerais Military Police and Federal Highway Police were also at the scene.
