Couple married with their hospitalized daughter. She was the maid of honor at the ceremony

The arrival of a baby is always a blessing that manages to brighten the lives of the whole family, especially that of the parents, just as it happened with Karim and Louise Rezaie, a British couple who welcomed their little girl with much love. Unfortunately, the girl had to be hospitalized due to Charge syndrome.

Her condition is a genetic mutation that has kept her in bed for six months without the possibility of leaving the hospital. Given this, her parents decided to get married there, next to her bed and to make her their little maid of honor. This is how they fulfilled one of their family dreams.

According to information from the media Metro UkBoth Karim and Louise wanted to celebrate their wedding with their daughter, but the little girl has been hospitalized since she was born due to Charge syndrome, which affects her eyes, heart and central nervous system.

They both wanted to fulfill a dream as a family

The couple wanted to marry and have their daughter participate in the celebration, but due to her health complications, they postponed it. The little girl’s situation was getting worse, so they both believed that the best way to lift their spirits was to reaffirm their love with their daughter as a witness, so they organized a small celebration.

We had always wanted to marry Lyla, for our daughter to be our witness.

Nurses and hospital staff helped them fulfill their dreams

The team of nurses who take care of the baby supported them so that they could have a small ceremony at the foot of Lyla’s bed.

Initially we thought the chaplain would come down and do a simple bedside wedding, but the team really tried hard.

Even though it was supposed to be one of their happiest days, the couple revealed that it felt like something “bittersweet.” On the one hand, they were happy to finally become a family, but on the other, the doctors reminded them that their baby was not very healthy and that he needed to stay in the hospital for at least a couple more months.

Lyla was there and it was great, but they reminded us how bad it was. Still, it was great that it happened.

The little ceremony was a great success and the little family was able to spend a beautiful time together. Both the doctors and the nurses and technicians were happy for them and helped them take photos and videos to always remember this day.
