“On June 25, 2022, while crossing the Hubbard Glacier in Alaska“The Norwegian Sun came in contact with an iceberg,” a Norwegian Cruise spokesman told the NY Post.
“The ship was taken to Juneau, Alaska for further evaluation, where it was decided that the current voyage would be shortened and the cruise scheduled to start on June 30, 2022 would be canceled so that the necessary repairs could be made.”
The cruise ship, Norwegian Sun, reportedly hit an iceberg in Alaska last Saturday. Her voyage timeline shows that she changed course & ETA late on 25/6 before she changed her destination from Hubbard Glacier to Juneau (26/6) where she was moored until 27.
