A doctor arrested as the organizer of the anti-vaccination protest in Cyprus, during which Extensive material damage was caused to the outside of the Presidential Palace of Nicosia and to the “DIAS” Complex.
According to politis.com.cy, this is Dr. Elpidoforos Sotiriadis, who holds a master’s degree in Epidemiology and a PhD in Environmental and Occupational Health from the School of Public Health at Harvard University.
In fact, according to the page, the doctor had expressed his opposition to the measures against coronavirus while he had argued that the risk of the virus is slightly higher than that of the flu.
The detainee, along with six other people, is expected to be taken to court today along with six other people, who were handcuffed by police during Sunday’s incidents.
In a post on Facebook, he condemned the “dangerous diversions made by strangers on the Sigma channel”, expressing frustration and disgust.
