Deputy Danilo Forte (União-CE) will be the rapporteur of the Proposed Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) that provides for the recognition of the state of emergency in 2022 and releases R$ 41.25 billion in aid, dubbed PEC of Benefits. The forecast is that the report of the rapporteur will be analyzed by the Special Commission next Wednesday (6).
The information was confirmed by the parliamentary press office this Sunday (3).
“I accepted with great tranquility the mission to report the PEC of Benefits, and to give the population a breath at this delicate moment. Hunger is in a hurry”, says the deputy in a note.
In addition to expanding Auxílio Brasil to at least BRL 600 per month and the gas voucher to around BRL 120 every two months, the text creates an aid of BRL 1,000 for truck drivers and an aid that has not yet been defined. taxi drivers, these measures would be valid until December 31 of this year.
As expected, the matter will be attached to another proposal that was already being processed by the House, the PEC on Biofuels. The objective is to gain time and approve the text more quickly, without the need for it to also be voted on in parliamentary committees.
