Confusion of Bolsonaro and influencer

An influencer was restrained by security guards near the Palácio do Alvorada, in Brasília, after cursing and provoking President Jair Bolsonaro. Then the Chief Executive and entourage tried to take his cell phone.

Wilker Leão, a lawyer and former corporal in the Brazilian Army, asked questions such as: “Why did you limit plea bargaining?” and offended the president, calling him “Tchutchuca do Centrão”, “coward”, “vagabundo” and “bastard”.

He also made references to Valdemar da Costa Neto, president of the Liberal Party, Bolsonaro’s party, and to former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). “Valdemar Costa Neto, you gave yourself to him. Lula is a thief too, but this one is doing everything the PT does, otherwise the PT will come back”.

In an interview with CNN Leão says he considers the president’s attitude as inappropriate, but that the end was positive.

“The way he approached to try to take my cell phone was wrong. Then he saw that he couldn’t take my cell phone and ordered security to take it,” he said. “But I think the ending was positive for trying to talk like it should have been before.”

Due to the repercussion of the case, he reveals that he is worried about the reaction of the president’s supporters, but said that he will not stop going to the playpen.

“Tomorrow, I’ll be there. And then too. I believe that this debate manages to elucidate points about this government that its supporters do not understand or prefer to ‘give it a whirl’.”
