The young woman is the daughter of a Brazilian couple from ParanĂ¡.
She was last seen boarding a train and exiting in Jersey City, about 6 miles from home.
Since then, the young woman had not returned and had been reported missing by her mother, Lucelia Santos. The city of Harrison has just under 20,000 inhabitants and is 15 km from New York.
