Delicatessen Fome de Quê, by Aninha Gonzalez, gains space for coffee and lunch

A mix of grocery, cafe and restaurant promises to do the new Hungry of what, a gastronomic point in the district of Pinheiros, in São Paulo.

In fact, it is already a little: those who know the recipes created by the banqueter Aninha Gonzalez He has been visiting the place for some time, but always in the “grab and go” mood of its pasta, sauces, pies and desserts, all frozen and ready to take home. In addition, of course, to the deliveries of its made-to-order delicacies, which range from its famous shrimp couscous to beef Wellington and the salmon terrine with blinis.

But now Aninha has also decided to invest in receiving the customer right there, for lunch or coffee – those with no time to finish.

From Monday to Friday, Aninha and her Fome de Quê now have a salad bar and hot dishes, and every day, she writes the menu options on a blackboard, which can be a salad, pie or sliced ​​chicken, plus fruit salad (R$58), or with salad and a hot dish (R$68) – usually the main buffet items, such as mincemeat, spiritual cod, duck rice or some veggie recipe.

For those who want it, she also suggests choosing a freshly made pasta – cappelli stuffed with pumpkin, ravioli with semi-cured cheese, roast beef capelletti, lasagna bolognese, potato and chia gnocchi, mini brie ravioli with pears – with a choice of sauce, including parmesan, fresh tomatoes or vegetable jus.

For dessert, Aninha bets on tiramisú or oven-baked cocada (R$18) – the latter, one of her trademarks since she started cooking almost two decades ago. The paulistana is a specialist in preparing snacks for the most diverse types of events in the capital.

During the afternoon coffee, the suggestion is the cakes, cheese breads, pies and sweets, which are exposed in the shop window, which has the biggest sales atmosphere. Aninha was responsible for the decoration, from the black and white checkered floor, to the pink color and the straw chandeliers – be sure to check out, by the way, some works painted in watercolor by the banqueter; she is also venturing into the fine arts.

Finally, “we also have wine and delicacies for a happy hour”, says Aninha, who is known for the “art of hospitality”, and her meetings are always the most exciting.

It is worth remembering that there are also freezers with frozen foods, such as pasta, sauces, ready meals and desserts.
