Deloitte to Lamda consultants for smart city services in Elliniko

Deloitte, in collaboration with AFRY and a team of specialized consultants, undertook the implementation of the project concerning the design of the strategy for the development of smart city services for Elliniko and Lamda Development.

The project concerns the provision of consulting services regarding services based on state-of-the-art technologies and innovative business models, which will be activated by the current phase of infrastructure design and will lead to a sustainable, digital and sustainable development perspective for Elliniko.

The team of consultants that undertook the project consists of the market leader in Deloitte consulting services, which is active worldwide and in a series of projects related to the design and implementation of smart city strategies with examples “The NEOM” in Saudi Arabia and ” Porto Nuova Development “in Milan, as well as by the internationally recognized engineering consulting company AFRY, which also has extensive experience having implemented relevant projects in Northern Europe such as Nyhamnen, Malmö in Sweden, and the Red Sea Development project in Qatar. The project will be implemented in collaboration with highly specialized consulting companies in the fields of energy, technology and telecommunications such as CIGA Energy, CIMA Data Analytics and ENOMIX.

As it is known, LAMDA Development was selected by the Public Private Property Utilization Fund (HRDF) to implement its development plan for the area of ​​the former Athens International Airport (Hellinikon airport) and the coastal zone of Agios Kosmas (“The Ellinikon Project” The Hellinikon project is today one of the largest urban regeneration projects in Europe and the most ambitious development project ever implemented in Greece. including real estate, tourism, the environment, culture, entrepreneurship and innovation.

The goal of LAMDA Development is the creation of a Smart City in the area of ​​Elliniko for the benefit of residents, visitors and businesses operating in the area. With this project, the company achieves the emergence of a global example of a smart city and more specifically “a smart latest technology urban area that pioneers the future of housing, work and leisure through the use of technology aimed at creating conditions of sustainability and serving the needs of tomorrow “.
