Despite showing off her luxurious life on social media, lawyer and influencer Deolane Bezerra does not have many privileges in prison.
She is being held in the Recife Women’s Penal Colony, in the west of the capital of Pernambuco, and, according to the Pernambuco Penitentiary Administration and Reintegration Secretariat (SEAP/PE), she is following the routines of other women deprived of liberty in the prison unit.
The only “perk” the influencer received was an individual cell, for her and her mother, Solange Alves.
“As this is a high-profile case, the prison unit took the appropriate security measures to protect the physical integrity of the person deprived of liberty, keeping him in a reserved cell,” SEAP/PE informed CNN .
Late yesterday afternoon (4), the press followed the arrival of two new mattresses and two new fans to the prison unit, but the secretariat did not confirm whether the items were sent to Deolane Bezerra.
“The other treatments provided to the inmate, such as visits from lawyers and meals, follow the routine of the prison unit”, explains SEAP/PE.
This morning, Deolane’s fans were at the prison door with posters in support of the lawyer.
Custody hearing
On the morning of this Thursday (5), the influencer received a visit from her two sisters, also lawyers, Dayanne and Daniele Bezerra. Deolane underwent a custody hearing, held virtually at the Women’s Penal Colony in Recife. The Court opted to maintain the preventive detention of the influencer and her mother.
