Died Lance Reddick, the actor was 60 years old

The actor Lance Reddick has passed away at the age of 60 at his Los Angeles home in the Studio City neighborhood on Friday morning, March 17. Death, as anticipated by the site tmz extension and taken from The Hollywood Reportershould have occurred due to natural causes.

Lance Reddick is best known for a long list of television projectswhich goes from Lost to Fringeup to the starring role in the acclaimed The Wire. Ryan Murphy cast him as the Pope in the third (and then eighth) season of American Horror Story.

It should have turned Dancer with Ana de Armas and is part of the cast of the series based on the novels of Percy Jackson and the Olympiansbut it is still unknown how the news will affect production.

The actor and musician, born in Baltimore on June 7, 1962, he had been married since 2011 to Stephanie Day and has two children, Yvonne Nicole and Christopher. He made his big screen debut with Oscar-winning Alfonso Cuaròn’s Paradise Lost, and then diversified his career as a voice actor as well.

Condolence messages poured in from all over Hollywood. Among these stands out that of Ian McShane: «I’m in a state of total shock and disbelief. Lance was a wonderful human being and an incredible colleague.”
