Smartphone shipments from Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo were all-time high in the first quarter, according to Digitimes Research. The shortage of semiconductor products and other components did not prevent Chinese manufacturers, since the necessary stocks were made ahead of time.
It is noteworthy that only five companies – Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, Huawei and Apple – occupy 91.8% of the market. And if you add Honor to the top five, the total share of the top six brands is 98%.
