Disney releases first look at new Pixar movie: ‘Turning Red’

Puberty is one of the most complicated stages when we are growing up and the new movie Turning Red It perfectly demonstrates how difficult it can be, especially when you risk turning into a giant panda if you don’t stay calm.

In the first preview of Pixar’s latest creation, we meet Mei Lee, a 13-year-old girl who tries to navigate the school and learning experience on her own, but Ming, her overprotective mother, makes a fool of her in front of his friends.

According to what Disney shared, Turning Red It will feature the participation of Rosalie Chiang and Sandra Oh, who will give their voices to the main characters. Award-winning filmmaker Domee Shi will direct, while Lindsey Collins will serve as producer on the film.

Without a doubt, the new Pixar film is the perfect example, as a metaphor, of the thousands of changes that many children experience when they start to grow up, seek their own independence and develop outside their family circle.

Although Pixar’s latest creation, Luca, came directly to the Disney + digital platform, the film managed to receive great reviews around the world, especially for its captivating story. Even so, Turning Red It is scheduled to hit theaters in March 2022.
