DJI has unveiled FPV, a hybrid drone that offers first-person flight control, the speed and maneuverability of racing drones, and consumer UAV camera functions.
DJI FPV can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in just 2 seconds and has a top speed of 140 km / h. The drone has three flight modes, including Normal, which is designed for novice pilots and allows the device to hover in place and detect obstacles. Manual mode provides full flight control with all sensors and hover disabled. Finally, the sport mode retains some of the normal mode safety features.

Regardless of the mode, DJI FPV has an emergency braking and hovering function that can be activated at any time with the push of a button. The return function allows the drone to return to the starting point in the event of a connection loss. The UAV will also alert pilots to any aircraft or helicopter in the vicinity.
Out of the box, DJI FPV combines the best hybrid drone technology available. It can fly like a racer, hover like a traditional drone, accelerate and stop faster than any of them.

The key element of DJI FPV is the DJI FPV Goggles V2. The drone can send images up to 10 km in two modes. Supports 1440 x 810 pixels at 60 fps in high quality mode with 142 ° FOV or 50 fps with 150 ° FOV. The latency in this mode is less than 40ms. In Low-Latency mode, the resolution is the same, but you get either 120fps with 142 ° FOV or 100fps with 150 ° FOV with less than 28ms latency. Up to eight pairs of spectator glasses can be connected at the same time.

DJI FPV is equipped with a camera that can record 4K video at 60 fps. You can also record four times slow-motion videos in 1080p resolution. Videos can be saved in H.264 or HEVC. The camera also supports DJI’s RockSteady digital image stabilization.
The DJI FPV costs $ 1299 and includes a remote controller, FPV Goggles V2 goggles, cables, and one rechargeable battery. DJI also offers an optional controller that lets you control the drone with hand movements for $ 199.
The DJI FPV Fly More Kit, which includes two extra batteries and a charging adapter, costs $ 299.
