Drunk driver in Bolivia claims to be from Ukraine to avoid a fine

In Mexico there is a saying that goes like this: “Children and drunkards always tell the truth”, but this is not entirely true and to prove it, there is the story of a drunk driver, who, to avoid being fined, said he was coming from Ukraine and that he had not had a good time in the war.

The events occurred in Bolivia and, as expected, the police did not believe his version. However, the peculiar story reached social networks, where it has gone viral and received thousands of comments.

The events occurred in La Paz, Bolivia, just as a reporter from the local media Yungas Network witnessed the moment a drunk driver was arrested. Said man answered all the questions from the police and even the reporter. Unfortunately, his answers were incongruous and revealed the alcohol in his body, but one of these caught everyone’s attention, since he claimed to come from Ukraine… from the war.

– Sir, are you from La Paz, from here… where are you from?

– From Ukraine! I have come from war.

With such an answer, the man hoped that the police would take pity on him and his situation, setting him free, something that did not happen. In fact, in the end, his vehicle was stopped and he received a large fine.

Although they were not the center of attention in this police interrogation, it should be mentioned that the man was accompanied by a friend and a woman, who also had various degrees of alcohol and although they did not say they came from Ukraine, they did mention that they had lawyers and that they had everything under control, aha.
