The new regulation for the self-employed and self-employed affected by the pandemic came into force from today, Thursday, December 2, 2021, which allows the settlement of debts to e-EFKA in up to 72 monthly installments.
The regulation concerns debts created due to the measures to deal with the negative consequences of the appearance of the coronavirus within the period February 2020 to June 2021, provided that they have become overdue and have been transmitted to the K.E.A.O.
It is noted that the process of determining the debts for 767,645 non-employees for the period from 01.01.2020 to 30.09.2021 has been completed, whose inclusion in the K.E.A.O. also started from 01.12.2021. It is also pointed out that the debts of February-March-April-May 2020 that were suspended in the collection are not included in this regulation as they are not considered overdue. The period of suspension of collection of these debts expires on 31/12/2021.
The peculiarity of this arrangement is that it is monitored independently, without being affected by the existence of current debts or the observance of other parallel arrangements of the same debtor. For this reason, a separate special payment code has been created, which is linked exclusively to this arrangement and should be used by debtors to pay the installments.
The application for inclusion in the regulation is submitted until January 31, 2022 to the Electronic Services K.E.A.O. For debtors who may be excluded from the certification in the Electronic Services K.E.A.O. the application can be submitted to the competent services of K.E.A.O. making an online appointment through the e-EFKA website.
