ECB: Rehn says inflation expectations are anchored too low

The member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB), Olli Rehn, said on Wednesday that inflation expectations in the euro zone are, unfortunately, anchored too low, as reported by Reuters.

“The ECB you need a clear and genuinely symmetrical price stability target and a reaction function that is strong enough and equally effective to react to deviations in both directions” Rehn added.
