The actor and comedian Eduardo Sterblitch will voice Beetlejuice protagonist character of “The Ghosts Still Have Fun” played by American actor Michael Keaton.
“Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! I called so much, IT HAPPENED! I’m going to voice the most famous ghost around on the big screen,” Sterblitch wrote in the announcement on his Instagram.
The Brazilian actor is already more than familiar with the role. Since last year he has been playing the protagonist in the stage production of the story: “Beetlejuice, the musical”.
The sequence “The Ghosts Still Have Fun” hits theaters more than 35 years after the 1988 horror classic, “The ghosts have fun” . The premiere in Brazilian cinemas is scheduled for September 6th of this year .
The new story will show Lydia’s return to the house where her family was haunted more than 30 years ago. Accompanying her will be her daughter, Astrid, who will be responsible for finding a model of the city and bringing the ghost Beetlejuice back.
Created and directed by Tim Burton the original story stars the actor Michael Keaton who will return in the sequel to once again play the iconic rebellious ghost. The actress Winona Ryder also reprises her role as Lydia in the sequel. Jenna Ortega completes the cast as Astrid, Lydia’s daughter.
