EET: Frauds in online shopping and investment related scams – What consumers should be aware of

-If you do not receive your product, contact the dealer / seller. If you do not receive a response, contact your affiliate bank

-Always report any suspected attempted fraud to the police, even if you are not a victim

Common investment fraud is said to include lucrative investment opportunities such as stocks, bonds, cryptocurrencies, gemstones, offshore real estate investments and alternative energy sources.

-Repeatedly receive unexpected / unannounced telephone calls
