Egypt: Tighten pandemic measures after new death record

Only fully vaccinated coronavirus officials will be able to enter their premises in Egypt, two months from now. AllThe rest should have a negative test twice a week.

THE Egypt toughens measures against the pandemic with a decision by Prime Minister Mustafa Madbuli ordering all ministries to implement the new measure, which was decided by the cabinet on September 26th.

And not unjustly, as yesterday the country officially recorded a record number of victims from its complications coronavirus for the last 100 days with 39 victims, reaching a total of the tragic death toll of 17,263 since the beginning of the pandemic.

In all, according to the Athens News Agency, 2.4 million Egyptian civil servants out of 3.4 million have been vaccinated, among the 13 million people who have been vaccinated.

It has already been decided that unvaccinated students will not be allowed to enter the dormitories unless they also have a negative test.
