EIZO announced the release of the FlexScan EV2490 monitor. It is based on a 23.8-inch IPS-type panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Brightness is 250 cd / m², contrast ratio – 1000: 1, response time – 5 ms, viewing angles – 178 °.
A feature of the FlexScan EV2490 is the built-in docking station. It includes a USB 3.1 Gen 1 hub with two USB Type-C ports, one USB Type-B port, and three USB Type-A ports, a Gigabit Ethernet network port, and a headphone jack. In addition, the monitor’s equipment includes two 1W speakers and HDMI and DisplayPort video inputs. The incoming USB Type-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and Power Delivery to power a laptop up to 70W. Downstream also supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, allowing you to connect monitors in a chain, and Power Delivery, but in its case the power is limited to 15 watts.
The stand provides the ability to adjust the height from 332.4 to 523.6 mm, the tilt angle from -5° to 35°, the rotation angle within ±172°, as well as change the orientation, and rotate the screen to translate from landscape orientation in portrait and back you can in any direction.
The manufacturer promises to start sales in April, but does not name the price. The monitor comes with a five-year warranty.
