Eletrobras opened a selection process to hire 832 people in the subsidiaries Eletronorte, CGT Eletrosul, Furnas and Chesf in order to increase the diversity of the company’s employees, as the company’s president, Wilson Ferreira Júnior, had already anticipated.
The executive declared, at the beginning of this year, that it was necessary to “oxygenate” the staff, whose average age is high.
The selection process takes place at a time when Eletrobras is promoting a Voluntary Resignation Program (PDV), which has already received the adhesion of more than 2,500 people, according to Ferreira Júnior.
“The company’s objective is to bring new talent and renew the workforce, directing hiring in order to increase diversity, in various dimensions, in the staff,” said the company in a note this Thursday (9).
Hiring for effective positions will be carried out via the CLT regime and will be for operational, maintenance and operation areas, with medium, medium-technical and higher levels.
Among the benefits offered are transportation vouchers, food/meal allowance, supplementary pension and health plan.
“With the selection process, the Eletrobras companies move towards a staff with a rich composition of young talents and experienced professionals, encouraging the exchange of experiences and learning”, said the company.
Before the privatization, carried out last year, Eletrobras had 26 thousand employees. Currently, it has 10.5 thousand.
