The head of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, intrigued his subscribers with another tweet in which he says that the purchase of Twitter (blocked in Russia for spreading illegal information) will speed up the creation of “X” – an application for everything. In the comments, users began to vigorously discuss Musk’s statement. Someone said that the microblogging service will turn into a super application, and someone recommended making “X” from scratch. Musk responded by writing that Twitter would likely speed up this process by 3-5 years, although he could be wrong.
Bloomberg suggests that Musk wants to make a super app with an expanded set of features and services. Such a service allows users to communicate, shop, read news, listen to music and much more. An example of such an application is the Chinese messenger WeChat, which has long gone beyond the messaging program. By the way, Musk himself once admitted that he admires the Tencent product.
In August this year, at a meeting of Tesla shareholders, Elon Musk said that he had ideas on how to make Twitter much better. Then he compared his vision for the further development of the microblogging service with the company X, which he founded in 1999.
