The largest increase in turnover in Q1 2022 compared to Q1 2021 was seen by businesses in the Arts, Entertainment & Entertainment sector of 315.1%, while the smallest increase in turnover in Q1 2022 compared to Q1 2021 presented the businesses of the Information and Communication sector, by 5.3%.
For all businesses in the economy with an obligation to keep double-entry books, for which data are available on a monthly basis, the turnover in May 2022 amounted to 30,559,498 thousand euros, marking an increase of 51.8% compared to May 2021 , which had risen to 20,127,791 thousand euros.
The largest increase in turnover in May 2022 compared to May 2021 was presented by businesses in the Accommodation and Catering Services sector by 242.0%, while the smallest increase in turnover in May 2022 compared to May 2021 was presented by the businesses of the Activities Related to Human Health and Social Care sector, by 5.3%.
